Sending a referral


Sending a Referral Step by Step Tracy is helping Craig to find a job while he overcomes substance abuse issues.

As a first step, Tracy logs in to S2S eReferral and searches to see if Craig has a previous record in the system.

Craig does have a record and gives his consent for Tracy to access his demographic information.

However he does not want his past drug problems to be known so he refuses consent for details of past referrals to be made available to Tracy or any other agencies.

Tracy enters information about Craig's current need for assistance finding work.

She then uses the S2S eReferral database to locate an employment service that can help Craig make the transition to work.

A case manager at the employment service receives an email notifying him of Tracy's referral. He logs in to S2S eReferral and accepts the referral.
