Referring by fax

Tiep's GP recommends he see a physiotherapist.

Tiep would prefer to see someone close to his office, which is outside his GP's health service catchment area.

Even so, the GP can use S2S eReferral's in-built service directory to locate a physiotherapist that is convenient for Tiep.

Because the physio does not use the S2S eReferral system, the GP uses S2S eReferral's Fax Gateway feature to refer Tiep for treatment.

The physio receives Tiep's details as a fax from S2S eReferral. The GP records feedback received by phone on S2S eReferral for future reference.
